Judith Strodtkötter studied cultural studies in Leipzig and dramaturgy in Frankfurt am Main. Since then she has worked mainly in Bremen in the field of production management and dramaturgy. Among other things, she accompanied the OUTNOW! Festival, first as organisational and later as artistic director.
From 2020-2022, she curated the Schwankhalle's programme as a permanent member of the team together with the artistic director, Florian Ackermann. Judith Strodtkötter is also a lecturer at the HKS Ottersberg in the faculty of Dance and Social Theatre and has accompanied various artistic processes as a mentor.
Judith is also a cultural worker in rural areas. She has been involved in the Förderunion für Kunst und Kultur e.V. since 2021: a platform for cultural exchange that docks supposedly urban themes and aesthetics locally and expands them to include regional perspectives, always in exchange with local people. Judith has been a certified yoga teacher (500 hrs Yoga Alliance) since November 2021.
